Digicorp completed 10 years on 16th January 2014 – a milestone any company should be proud of. We have learned a lot from many failures and successes we have encountered during this journey.

Today, we are more mature, clearer, and wiser. It feels right to reposition the company as we enter the next decade – the most important one in the history of Digicorp.

Digicorp’s new logo and tagline is a small attempt (but not the only one of course) towards a new direction.

The new logo:

The logo is clean with an elegant first half (DIGI) and strong second half (CORP). In one line it signifies,

A strong corporation making elegant digital solutions.

The typeface family is “Lato”.

Lato is a sanserif typeface family designed in the Summer 2010 by Warsaw-based designer Łukasz Dziedzic (“Lato” means “Summer” in Polish).

He wanted to create a typeface that would seem quite “transparent” when used in body text but would display some original traits when used in larger sizes.

He used classical proportions (particularly visible in the uppercase) to give the letterforms familiar harmony and elegance.

The semi-rounded details of the letters give Lato a feeling of warmth, while the strong structure provides stability and seriousness.

This typeface has almost all the qualities we aspire to have in Digicorp.

  • Transparency (towards our employees and clients)
  • Harmony (in our processes)
  • Elegance (in our solutions)
  • Warmth (in our behaviour)
  • Stability and Seriousness (in our approach and solutions)

Apart from these qualities, we like its neatness. To avoid any kind of dilution, we didn’t use any other colour but black. The experience is serene.

Now the tagline:

Well, when we started Digicorp in 2004, we were just college graduates without a lot of experience. We were determined and talented (may be) but lacked imagination. We merely followed client’s instructions in building solutions for them. In short, we were just coding.

In last 10 years,

  • We worked on million dollar projects
  • Developed solution which received 5 star usability rating
  • Won “Best Software Company” and “Best Mobile App Company” awards
  • One of our products featured in CNBC
  • App developed by us got million dollar exit
  • Worked with clients all across the globe
  • And much more…

Now our interaction with clients starts with a “Why?”. We are here to solve a problem and without understanding the purpose, we cannot provide a meaningful solution.

We are no longer just coding but crafting solutions for our clients i.e. adding our own imagination to make them meaningful.

This transition in our thinking and approach from 2004 to 2014 is aptly conveyed in the new tagline
